My Goals
My goals I plan to accomplish through a college education is success. I plan to be successful in my major, classes, performances, physical health, and in my college experience. I expect a college education to help me become successful in my future. To help teach, lead and give back to my community. I was born in California all my life and all of my 18 years of living being raised in what you would call a foster home, I know a college education will teach me the ways of life, through knowledge of success. If I am taken out of a bad Environment, place into a knowledgeable Environment knowing I will do right, and be successful because some college university gave me a chance, to let me successful succeed and to accomplished my goals through a college education.
The Fire My Autobiographic
It is a Sunday morning about 5:30am and my family and I are just waking up because we usually go to church at 7:10am. I’m in the bathroom getting dress. My aunt is in her room doing my cousin hair. And my uncle is taking a shower. And suddenly someone comes in rings the doorbell. I run to the door and I say with a smooth soft voice who is it? The man says its Keith the next-door newborns. I said how might I help you. He say please excuse me but there is a fire on 89 in van ness you have 30 minutes to get out you’re house are your going to burn.
I ran actually to the hall way in scream it’s a fire on 89 in van ness hurry we only have 30 minutes I smell the smoke. My aunt hurries and grab a few things my uncle hurries and grabs a few things I run to my room in on my bed is my bible and on my dresser is my awards so I grab them and run out the house into the car. Thinking this can’t be happening. I begin thinking while my parents are driving. Many times you don’t have a chance to grab or get anything.
I first item I would grab is my black wallet. Because it is a family generation wallet that has been past on throw out my mother family and it was given to me. It is very important to me because that is the only gift my mother actually gave me. I the second item I would grab is my bible. Because its something I try to live by daily it is a very big important part of my life. It makes me a better person within my religion, which I am a Christian. It helps me get throw repeated challenges.
The third item I would grab is my award to remind me of how gifted I am. Because it is a reminder when I’m down and family and friends tell me I won’t be anything nor achieve anything. It reminds me that I will achieve success and the future. I will become all that GOD wants me to become. Little do they know their going to be working for me, But my awards is special to me it is like a photo album and if it was to burn that memory couldn’t come back and be restore within my mind. It is like a lose memory I have no clue or proof on what I have done in my past to so my family in the future.
unlike the others my Short Story
The setting of the unlike the others took place in a small town called Inglewood in 1993 outside of the window of Joyce baker room. There was Joyce looking outside her window talking to GOD. Describing her life and how he mad her unlike the others. Joyce had her small purple radio playing smooth but soft jazz. Which brought in new ways to describe her emotion with feeling to GOD. Joyce character was more straight forward and structure, as she would talk to GOD as if they were face to face. This was a period when Joyce emotions used symbols or colors. The character image in this story was a black African American young lady. She wears a bright yellow dress with yellow sandals. Her hair color was black she wear her hair in a ponytail with bangs in the front. On Joyce face she wear makeup, black eye liner and light pink lip-gloss. Through Joyce’s life she always grew from her experience. The issue of this story is Joyce been raised like every other kid but she is unlike the others from family to friends At the age of 13 Joyce move out of her mothers home to live with her aunt. Joyce was raised in what you would call a foster home but they treated her like if she was one of their owns. She had everything a kid could every want, games, money, family and love. But all of those things are what made her so unlike the others. Though she had everything the way she saw things were different from others. Many people would think negative or talk crazy when things went wrong she simply though positive and through her growing he inspired and help others. She could relate to many others situation and help others through theirs. She was known through school, church, face book and her community. Joyce had the ability to help everyone with GOD by her side; she was strong, loveable and patient to all. One thing that mad her unlike the others was being a virgin at the age of 19. Many people would laugh, judge and talk about her because she was a virgin. Joyce knew who is was, and she knew her purpose in life, which always mad her unlike others. Joyce always had a positive view on situation even when no one else did. Joyce wasn’t perfect but she knew how to work things out. When people would be mean to others she would be the one to stop and help them. When people would talk mean or call her names she would simply say ok and go away from that person. She would do her best in her classes, community and at her home. She would talk to her friends and they would tell her she’s the greatest person they knew she wouldn’t quickly understand how she could be inspiring others, when all she would do is be herself, and her friends would say that’s all it took her being herself. That’s would mad her unlike others.
God First
God first, when you are in the midst of darkness, death, pain and brokenness, keep searching for the light and do not fall short. All bad works out for the good, and great works out for the best.
Okonkwo as a young man brought honor to his village. His fame rested on solid personal achievements. He fought the great wrestler name Amalinze. They had the same skin. He had to suffer from his father Unoka’s mistakes. Okonkwo was not a cruel man, but his whole life was dominated by the fear of failure and weakness. His first son, Nova, was causing his father great anxiety, at 12 years old, for his incipient laziness. He had three wives and eight children. He took seed-yams from Namibia and promised to grow them. It was the week of peace and Okonkwo had beaten his first wife. Everyone heard his wife crying, and they reported to the king and they punished him. Years passed, seed-yams grew, and the children got older. Mr. Brown comes to visit the king and to preach the gospel of Christ. The commissioners are angry.
The information in the novel is based on the life of Chinua Achebe. The events are true. The story of Okonkwo is in a way the story of our culture.
Chinua Achebe wrote this novel in order for people to get a better understanding of life. He wants people to be exposed to a different way of seeing the world.
Achebe decided to tell this story because he wanted people to understand never to put and idol before the one and only God. When you are in the midst of pain, tears, and drama, stand strong and keep your head up. All bad works for good and good works for great. Hold on to your faith believe even when you don’t see. When trouble comes your way praise your God. All dreams come true if u want them to. Reach for the best and your life.

teenager fad
this was quoted from a web site ""With all the publicity around extreme celebrity slenderness, many teens and adults have turned to fad diets to lose weight rapidly."" many teenagrs feel like if you dont have a small waste of big booty and a preety face youer not pretty. many teen used pills, to loose weight because they had a fad of being slim. many guys describe how a girl post to look, act and talk like. and many boys that look up to the super model way for a girl to look like they put girls into a box. teenagers have many fads girls we tend to have a fad of how we smell, look or act like. we had fads about emotions of who we love.we have a fad about alot of stuff. how to get over things, which way should we go, left or right, if were place and an odd position we tend to look for a better choice.
