teenager fad

this was quoted from a web site ""With all the publicity around extreme celebrity slenderness, many teens and adults have turned to fad diets to lose weight rapidly.""  many teenagrs feel like if you dont have a small waste of big booty and a preety face youer not pretty. many teen used pills, to loose weight because they had a fad of being slim. many guys describe how a girl post to look, act and talk like. and many boys that look up to the super model way for a girl to look like they put girls into a box. teenagers have many fads girls we tend to have a fad of how we smell, look or act like. we had fads about emotions of who we love.we have a fad about alot of stuff. how to get over things, which way should we go, left or right, if were place and an odd position we tend to look for a better choice.

favorite movie matilda

“Matilda” is one of my favorite  movies it was directed by Danny De Vito.  this movie  is about a little girl name matilda whos a smart little girl who likes to read books. and she not like her family. she smarter than her family and her family doesnt like the fact shes different.matilda developes brain powers. so when ever her father, mother or brother yells at her and a mean way she has the power to slap the door on them. . ''Before she starts school, she is left all alone in the big empty house. Meanwhile, her father goes to his horrid used car shop, and her mother goes to play bingo.''
At age five-and-a-half she's  began solving double-digit multiplication problems and  began reading  mobby Dickens books.. She love to read and study. So when in the morning came  Matilda's mom goes out daily to play bingo and her dad goes to his business with her brother going to school, Matilda goes to the library daily to read. She wants to go to school but her parents don’t even notice that she is old enough to go to school. they believe she  is four and they called her a liar when she told them that she was fve in a half.""Unfortunately, her neglectful and deeply stupid parents, Harry and Zinnia Wormwood are too wrapped up in their own little lives to care, or even to notice that their daughter is a genius, in love with books and with learning.""  Many Things change, when Harry Wormwood, who is a very crooked used car salesman, sells a car to Miss Trunchbull, the headmistress of Crunchem Hall and is very impressed with her warlike approach to school, and permits Matilda to go. However Crunchem Hall is not an ordina""
""But Matilda finds a single light in warm-hearted Miss Honey, the first-grade teacher who recognizes the girl's remarkable skills - including a very special talent - to move things with her mind. Matilda uses her ability on her real enemy the Trunchbull. Miss Honey discusses this with both Miss Trunchbull and Matilda's parents, neither of whom are impressed by this""
""she wills the chalk to write upon the blackboard, what is supposedly a message from Miss Honey's dead father. The result of this is that Miss Trunchbull leaves town, under a barrage of (not real, of course) missiles fired from the classes. Miss Honey gets her home back, and Miss Honey gets to be the principal of Crunchem Hall. The Wormwood family has to flee the country because the FBI are aware of Mr. Wormwood's car dealings. During a last scene, Matilda gets her parents to sign adoption papers, so she can stay with Miss Honey forever."" thats the end of the story. some of this was taken from a essay on the web but i quoted it.

modren life without cells phones

without cell phone in this mordern would its hard to descriibe what it would be like because not every student has a  cell  phone because not all parents can affort it. now most students does have a cell phone and many of them get angry when their parents take it away to punish them.  with out mordern cell phone the world itself would not gain so much money because the source is what makes the money. everyday there is something new made. and if daily nothing was mad were would kinda be a porr nation. they goverment and rich class depend on us to make them money they dont care about us. if i didnt have a phone i would be sad because withiout cell phones we cant connect with each others. if we didnt have cell phones we would have to walk to each other house to talk to them, thing would be different.

bestfriend birthday

i would save money months berfore. ask what she wants for her birthday months before it come into action. buy the gift. and give her a susorise party. my bestfirend deserves everything she or he gets so planning for a birthday would be easy as long as i have the money to afford it, then everything will be all right.

decade this i got from a web site

The decade I  would is the 199os because The 1990s was truly the electronic age.  We would not have been able to publish our decades web site if it weren't for the Internet.   The World Wide Web was born in 1992, changing the way we communicate (email), spend our money (online gambling, stores),  and do business (e-commerce).  By 1994, 3 million people were online.  And by 1998, this figure increased to 100 million people.  It is estimated that by 2001, some 1 billion people will be connected.  Internet lingo like plug-ins,  BTW (by the way), GOK (God only knows), IMHO (in my humble opinion), FAQS, SPAM, FTP, ISP, and  phrases like "See you online" or  "The server's down"  or "Bill Gates" became part of our everyday vocabulary.  We signed our mail with a  :-)  smile, a   ;-)  wink, or a :-* kiss.  And - everyone has a cell phone (even Jason at right!)

Television  graced 98% of the households in the U.S. in 1998 (according to the Statistical Abstract chart 910, online p. 5) with the average viewer spending seven hours a day watching 'the tube'.  In 1996, the television industry announced a  TV Parental Guideline rating system.  News or news magazine shows like 60 Minutes20/20, and Dateline NBC  were popular.  As cable expanded to include 74% of U.S. households, it gave rise to networks dedicated to a  particular theme such as sportsnature,  golf, cookingwomenhistory, and science fiction.   CNN had live coverage of the Gulf War in 1991.  And, did you, too, stay up to hear Dave Letterman's List?     The industry continued to push the envelop with hot topics like:

Once again, revivals were big hits on Broadway and around the country.  Andrew Lloyd Webber continued throughout the decade with Cats.   Musicals   (Les Misérables) continued to be popular in theaters but nearly disappeared on film - even Evita was a financial flop.  Mega-movie houses sprouted up - with up to 24 theaters in each.  Dollar movies went to a Dollar and a Half!  Videos came out right on the heels of movies and the price for renting or buying was affordable.

appreciating your parents

Realize that your parents are human too, and have feelings just like you, that can get hurt. tell them you love them and appreciate what they have done by raising you!
For younger people and adults, see a need around your parent's house and just take care of it. They will greatly appreciate it. Our parents spend most of their life devoted to us, so make their golden years one where you are there for them, sort of like a changing of the guards. After my Dad passed away in 2006, I really felt this with my Mom.
Take your parents out for a dinner, take them out on the town, something they want to do. basically I am saying spend some quality time with your parents. You are making lasting memories that you will carry in your heart always, long after they are gone.

steps to discribe a artice about a person from another country

1. Liberty of movement is an indispensable condition for the free development of a person. It interacts with several other rights enshrined in the Covenant, as is often shown in the Committee's practice in considering reports from States parties and communications from individuals. Moreover, the Committee in its general comment No. 15 (“The position of aliens under the Covenant”, 1986) referred to the special link between articles 12 and 13. 1

2. The permissible limitations which may be imposed on the rights protected under article 12 must not nullify the principle of liberty of movement, and are governed by the requirement of necessity provided for in article 12, paragraph 3, and by the need for consistency with the other rights recognized in the Covenant.

3. States parties should provide the Committee in their reports with the relevant domestic legal rules and administrative and judicial practices relating to the rights protected by article 12, taking into account the issues discussed in the present general comment. They must also include information on remedies available if these rights are restricted.

4. Everyone lawfully within the territory of a State enjoys, within that territory, the right to move freely and to choose his or her place of residence. In principle, citizens of a State are always lawfully within the territory of that State. The question whether an alien is “lawfully” within the territory of a State is a matter governed by domestic law, which may subject the entry of an alien to the territory of a State to restrictions, provided they are in compliance with the State's international obligations. In that connection, the Committee has held that an alien who entered the State illegally, but whose status has been regularized, must be considered to be lawfully within the territory for the purposes of article 12. 2 Once a person is lawfully within a State, any restrictions on his or her rights guaranteed by article 12, paragraphs 1 and 2, as well as any treatment different from that accorded to nationals, have to be justified under the rules provided for by article 12, paragraph 3. 3 It is, therefore, important that States parties indicate in their reports the circumstances in which they treat aliens differently from their nationals in this regard and how they justify this difference in treatment.

5. The right to move freely relates to the whole territory of a State, including all parts of federal States. According to article 12, paragraph 1, persons are entitled to move from one place to another and to establish themselves in a place of their choice. The enjoyment of this right must not be made dependent on any particular purpose or reason for the person wanting to move or to stay in a place. Any restrictions must be in conformity with paragraph 3.

6. The State party must ensure that the rights guaranteed in article 12 are protected not only from public but also from private interference. In the case of women, this obligation to protect is particularly pertinent. For example, it is incompatible with article 12, paragraph 1, that the right of a woman to move freely and to choose her residence be made subject, by law or practice, to the decision of another person, including a relative.

choose right college

When you think about schools, you need to consider what you really want in an education. Do you want to be trained for a specific line of work or do you want a more general liberal arts education? A pre-professional education prepares you for a specific job and includes areas such as engineering and pre-med. Some schools like M.I.T. have very strong programs for those interested in the sciences but might not be right for someone interested in literature. A liberal arts education, on the other hand, aims to equip you with general knowledge and reasoning skills suitable for many jobs.

Here’s a key question to ask every college: How does the college rank in the major you want to study? Universities are stronger in some areas and weaker in others. While it may be too early for you to know whether you want to major in English or history, check out how strong the programs and professors are in the various fields you are considering. One indication of how much emphasis a university places on a major is to find out how many students are studying that major, how many courses are offered in the field and how many faculty members teach the courses associated with that major and others like it. This should give you an idea as to the size of the department and the range of courses. If you want a major in a narrow field, you might have to consider a larger university.
-
The best way to get started finding colleges is to speak to those around you. Talk to your counselors, teachers, family friends and even (get ready for it) your parents. Often these people will be full of friendly advice and what's nice is that since they know you, they may have specific reasons for recommending a certain college. Take note of their recommendations but don't assume that they will give you the answers. Remember, you are just getting started. Asking the people you know for recommendations is a good way to generate a preliminary list of schools. As you research these schools, you'll begin to discover what is important to you. It may turn out that these initial recommendations were spot on or totally off.

making my community better

Invest in your own community by eating, shopping, and spending locally. Most new jobs are provided by local businesses and it reduces environmental impact. Non-profits receive greater support from local businesses too.
Reuse. Failing that, Recycle anything with the recycle label. Other things such as paper, cardboard, plastic, and so much more is also recyclable! You can also reuse things, such as refilling a plastic water bottle instead of getting a new one.
Do not litter... anything!
Save Energy. The more you cut back, the less fossil fuels are burned which not only give off CO2 its limited. Try turning lights off or lowering the house temperature by one, it also saves you money!
Don't drive unless necessary.
Have a compostor in your back yard. Its great for throwing out egg shells, banana peels, and other fruits. It'll keep the dumps lower and cleaner and make your garden very healthy
Don't smoke. Not only is smoking bad for you, it's bad for everyone around you. This is called second-hand smoking. Many people avoid this fact, but the smoke from cigarettes put pollution into the air. Smoking isn't good for anything!
Be nice and helpful to people. For example, if someone is carrying groceries to their car and they drop a bag, help them by picking up the groceries and loading them back into the bag. The simple things like that are very much appreciated by anyone!
Do not contribute to animal abuse! There are factories that do "animal testings" that are very harmful to animals! Many products (shampoos, lotions, body products, medicines, etc.) do animal testings by testing their products on animals. If a product does not have a "No animal testing" label, chances are they could be testing that product on animals. Do not abuse an animal in any way, and if you know someone who does, report it immediately! (Do not contribute to any abuse! Since any kind of abuse should be illegal, animal abuse is the number one abu
Give to the needy. So many kids and adults as well, are living poor all over the world! You can help them by donating new, old (but in fair condition) or unwanted goods such as clothes, food, toys, and anything else needed! It all pays off in the long run!se since animal testing factories aren't illegal.)
Conserve as much as possible. Again, the simplest stuff like taking one shower a day (unless it's necessary for another), and never letting the water run while brushing your teeth helps a lot! Buy the new high energy-saving light bulbs! They last years longer and cost more than half less a month than ordinary light bulbs!
Do what you say. Mean what you say.
Enjoy your Life and make it more enjoyable with these steps.

vegetable i dislike peas and beans

Peas and Beans Ltd. has not had an easy progress, but as a vehicle has been invaluable for providing for continuity of the plant breeding effort. In early days the Scottish Development Agency supported market research to introduce a new pea-based product called the 'Veg-Weg'. This was to made using his SANTA peas with a new cookery invention called a 'Snakwega'. Santa had very large and nearly white seeds. That idea may now be revivable but with different ingredients. The Santa pea never developed to its real potential as an organic variety because it was so vegetatively competitive that it was problematical in official trials.
The Scottish market research for 'Veg-Wedges', funded by the Scottish Development Agency, had been favorable but just as 'VegWeg' were due to hit the streets; the Scottish food partner company, Fleck's Vienna Bakery, was 'taken over' by Northern Foods and the project collapsed. The S. D. A. was apologetic. This was just the first of many such nasty experiences.
Peas & Beans Ltd. operated until 1992 by sharing accommodation and facilities with other larger companies and supplying know-how and specialized equipment to these in exchange for access to land and part time labor. Work was, in succession, associated with The Evening Primrose Oil Company, J. K. King and Sons of Coggeshall, Agri-International , Rogers Seeds (European operations), Nutting and Speed Ltd of Longstanton, and Cresthale Seeds of Werrington. All of these failed or fell apart, while Peas & Beans was able to continue, step aside, and move on, if not to thrive.
From 1992 until the present, land owned by St John's College, Cambridge became available near Colins home and provided a crucial land resource. A small local farm near his house was found with could provide, at low rental, space for under-roof facilities. These however are really quite inadequate by any normal standards. Farm equipment, which should be protected, has to face the weather. There has been horrendous village vandalism to contend with too. Nevertheless closeness to home and control of a private plant breeding 'station' has allowed progress to be continued.
Over the past nine years newly bred beans have been performing well in trial locations in Canada and Australia, Ukraine, Belarus , Hungary and Romania as well as nearer home in several sites in France and U. K.. Royalties are beginning to make a contribution to funds. However, yet again, commercial take-overs have caused serious problems for collaborative arrangements made both with peas and beans. Attempts by Peas & Beans Ltd. from their own form-filling applications, to try to obtain support from public funds have now been given up, having consumed a great deal of time with no benefit or return.

brothers and sisters not getting alone

In a house with more than one kid, there are bound to be some problems. Brothers and sisters borrow stuff, and don't always return it in top condition. Younger kids sometimes feel like the older kids get to do whatever they want. Older brothers and sisters think that the baby of the family gets more attention. These are typical problems found throughout the ages, everywhere in the world. When brothers and sisters don't get along, it's called sibling rivalry (say: sih-bling rye-vul-ree). A sibling is a brother or sister and rivalry means competition. It's normal, but too much competition can make for an unhappy home life. Let's talk about getting along with brothers and sisters. They're not so bad, are they?A little competition isn't a bad thing. Sometimes it can keep you working hard — like when you and your brother spend time shooting hoops. If he's good at it, it may make you want to improve, too. But some sibling rivalry involves arguing, like when you think your brother is hogging the ball. People who love each other might argue sometimes, but too much fighting is unpleasant for everyone.Have you ever heard of the green-eyed monster called jealousy? Sometimes brothers and sisters are jealous of one another. For instance, if your sister always does well at school, it may be frustrating for you, especially if your grades are lower.Although you're probably proud of your sibling or siblings, it's normal to be a little jealous, too. It may make you feel better to focus more on doing your own personal best, rather than comparing yourself with a brother or sister. All kids want attention from their parents, but sometimes you need to take turns. If you're feeling ignored or like your sibling is always in the spotlight, talk to your mom or dad. If a parent knows you're feeling left out, together you can figure out ways to help you feel better again

buy a new computer

NTI conducts hands-on computer forensics training courses which expose computer professionals to the many hazzards and risks associated with computer evidence processing and computer security. NTI's computer forensics training courses designed to drive home several important points, i.e., computer evidence is fragile by its very nature and the problem is compounded by the potential for destructive programs and hidden data.
Even the normal operation of the computer can destroy computer evidence that might be lurking in temporary operating system files, temporary application working files and ambient data storage areas. NTI provides its training clients with a solid foundation built upon technical knowledge so that they will understand the technical issues concerning the creation, modification and storage of computer data. Without this knowledge they will be unable to testify about their computer forensic findings. NTI also wants its clients to have a complete understanding of the technical issues so that they can make the right decisions about computer security risk management and computer evidence processing issues. It is not enough to run a computer forensics program and get results. Good decisions are made by knowledgable individuals who understand the underlying technical issues tied to the potential security risks and evidence processing issues tied to personal computers.
There are no strict rules that must be followed concerning the processing of computer evidence. Every case is different and flexibility and good technical knowledge make the difference between success and failure. However, many times decisions need to be made without full the knowledge of the issues involved. For that reason NTI has provided the following guidelines which are intended to assist its clients. Please remember that these guidelines do not represent 'the only true way'. They are intended to be general guidelines which are provided as food for thought. If you have an emergency and you are not yet formally trained,

end relationship

It is very advisable to maintain some distance to your partner before you actually break up. This has many advantages. On one side you will gain some emotional distance, which is important to be able to go through the steps listed below. On the other side, your partner will sense that something is about to happen and will hopefully emotionally prepare himself.Just cut off contact for a week before. Do not give too much information, just say you’re busy.I know, that’s a tough one, especially when you love the person in question, or are very close to him/her.Chances are that you were thinking about breaking up for a long time. You have come to the conclusion that you don’t fit together, have different expectations about life or were unable to resolve or get to the bottom of your conflicts. Maybe you have simply realized that you do not love your partner.
Either way, try to be sure that there is no chance of getting things right again. I wrote “try”, because I know that these things are not always easy to realize. You can be relatively positive on your decision, if you have tried for several times to work on your relationship by talking about your problems with your partner. To help you with making the decision I suggest that you make a list with all the reasons why you want to break up and write a possible solution beside it. Then go through your list and reflect if you have done everything to solve the problems you’ve had.By knowing the reasons for the upcoming break up you will on one hand be prepared for questions your partner might ask, on the other hand they will help you to cope with the break up yourself. So, are y Always talk to your partner in person. Never use email, text messages or a letter.
I know this is tempting because it’s much easier for you, but it would also be another type of betrayal. You owe your partner that you look him in the eye when you break up with him. It’s a question of loyalty and moral—an unwritten law.Not to speak that it’s easier for the person left behind to face the break up when you tell him/her personally.Never walk away from this painful burden. Be fair.ou absolutely sure? This is anything but easy. You have to be well prepared—you have to know what to say in advance. You must reckon that your partner is shocked. Even if the break up announced itself for a long time, it will come out of the blue for him/her. The “no contact” before can soften this. There can be various reactions. Depending on the personality of your partner, there can be denial, crying, begging, aggressiveness, even abuse. Try to stay calm whatever happens. Never let this end in a fight. Here is a short guideline how to behave when delivering the message:

make a new friend

A friend is somebody that will always be there for you. Even if its your imaginary friend. . You always have a great bunch of friends but sometimes some people are more of a friend then others. These two girls stick out the most of them all just because of all they have done for me. Now I am going to tell you my story on how I met two of my best friends
For one of my best friends it happened the summer of 3rd grade. Everyday when I looked outside I saw this girl across the street and I wondered who she was. Well I got really bored one day and I was bothering my mom and so she told me to go over and meet her so I walked over there and met here and she is the nicest girl on the block her name is Tori and Im very glad I met her. She will still be my best friend now even though we arent neighbors anymore.
For my other best friend I met her in Kingergarten. One day I went up to her and said hi and we are best friends now, her name is Asia. She always is smiling no matter what. I am glad that I went up to talk to her other wise I might not have such a good friend.
Best friends are something you don’t just find right away sometimes it takes courage and time to find that special somebody that will be your buddy and your pal forever. A friend is somebody you love very much and can trust just like your brother or sister.

favorite game monopoly

Monopoly

Monopoly has been the world's best selling board game, since the 1930s. Over two-hundred million copies of the game have been sold world wide, and its popularity continues to grow. Still, with all its glory, can Monopoly measure up to its reputation on educational standards? Monopoly was the ingenious idea for a game, by a man named Charles B. Darrow. Darrow lived in Germantown, Pennsylvania during the 1930s. Darrow based the design of the game from memories of his earlier years spent in Atlantic City. Darrow introduced his creation to his close friends, and it rapidly became the preferred group activity. Monopoly consist of players, whom which go around the board buying property and collecting rent, all the while spending large sums of money. It's no wonder why these people of such poor economic times, loved to play Monopoly. In 1935 the first Monopoly game sets were distributed nation wide by Parker Brothers. The royalties that came from Monopoly made Darrow a millionaire. Monopoly has been a large part of pop culture throughout the years and continues to be so till this very day.
Monopoly is a game in which two to eight players all try to become the wealthiest player through buying, renting and selling property, all the while trying to force their opponents into bankruptcy. Each player chooses a token to represent them while traveling on the board. The Bank is responsible for selling and auctioning property. As well as collecting taxes and fines. It also pays salaries, bonuses and can grant loans The Bank holds not only money, but Title Deed cards, and houses and hotels for the player to use regarding their property. A player is then selected to act as the Banker. The Banker also serves as the Auctioneer as well. The Banker must keep his/her personal game funds separate from the Bank.

importance of pride in ones work

I’ve started taking the time to read a few blogs again. One of the blogs I’ve started reading is the famous Uncle Bob who I’m ashamed to admit I only really found out about relatively recently after his interview on Hanselminutes. Listening to that show and recent readings of his books and Crystal Clear by Alistair Cockborn have really put us in the right direction at Lightning Tools and also been incredibly motivating. Currently we do a lot of our development work remotely rather than all sitting in the same location but this is soon to change with the opening of Lightning Tools HQ – very exciting stuff!
Uncle Bobs recent post called ‘Why the sea is boiling hot’ struck a real cord with me - ‘I want developers to take pride in their work.’
Some people I used to work with may laugh at me finding that important – and I’m not sure if it is because I have got older and wiser or now run a software company – but it’s really a great question to ask some one – ‘are you proud of that bit of code’ when you’ve found an issue that really should have been picked up. Putting more processes in place when we get into the new office such as pair programming and maybe even TDD(!) will help developers become more professional and proud of the work they complete. David Heinermeier Hansson posted a response to Uncle Bob saying that as well as engineers we need artists – but I’ve got to agree with Uncle Bob in that these processes and systems that take care of the professional development process actually will allow developers to free their mind and come up with great new ideas and features.
This again brings me round to thinking about Getting Things Done – as many things seem to these days. One of the barriers people put up to David Allens GTD processes are that they are of an artistic nature and do not want to be boxed in by the processes of GTD. The reply that is always given by GTD’ers is that by letting GTD manage your projects, tasks, inbox etc – your brain is free from having to keep track of these things and actually gives you more of an opportunity to use it how it should be – in an artistic way thinking up new ideas, product features, writing songs, painting pictures or whatever you think being artistic is!

effects of predjudice

The next theory is economic competition, which has been seen throughout history to increase aggression and violence during times of economic hardships. If an individual works hard all his life, and is trying to support his family, and can’t get a job because a minority is willing to work for a lesser wage, he will become angry and frustrated. He will start to become prejudice.

Economic competition also plays a significant role in C.P.’s prejudicial attitudes. Due to his lack of education, it resulted in him not being able to get a good paying job, and so he remained poor. The only jobs he could get were factory and manual labor, which were the types of jobs that minorities were forced to take, and so he had to compete with them. He noticed that blacks are taking many jobs away from him, and he hates them even more, because he is supposed to be the superior one.

Socialization theory explains that children are so impressionable that they accept their parent’s values and beliefs without questioning. Socialization is the root of C.P.’s becoming a racist; he still remembers his father telling him not to associate with blacks, Jews, and Catholics. C.P

impulse buying

This popular American folk saying has appeared extensively on contemporary artifacts such as bumper stickers and tee-shirts,. and highlights ideas about buying's palliative effects. It also alludes more generally to the relationship between consumers' affective states and their buying behavior. Moods and emotions are central elements of the consumer's situational environment (Belk 1975). Findings from psychology (e.g., Isen and Simmonds 1978; Cunningham 1979; Isens and Shalker 1982) and consumer behavior (e.g., Berneman and Heeler 1986; Gardner and Wilhelm 1987; Goldberg and Gorn 1987) indicate feeling states influence a wide variety of internal processes and observable behaviors. (For a review of this research, see Gardner 1985.) One context where feeling state volatility and buyer behavior often interact is in consumer impulse buying. Shifts in affective state can stimulate pursuit of the instant gratification that buying provides. Conversely, the act of impulse buying and the associated possession of the product purchased can trigger changes in affective state. The relationships between consumers' affective states and their impulse buying behavior remain largely unexplored despite their importance.
Impulse buying is pervasive in the American marketplace today, and has been the target of market and consumer research for over forty years (e.g., Applebaum 1951; Bellenger et al. 1978; Clover 1950; Cobb and Hoyer 1986; Consumer Buying Habits Studies 1945; Katona and Mueller 1955; Kollat 1969; Rook 1987; West 1951). Contemporary marketing innovations such as 24-hour retailing, telemarketing, cash machines, "instant credit" and home shopping networks make it easier for the consumer to operate on whim now than ever before. In spite of the importance of impulse buying in America today, we know surprisingly little about the dynamics of this type of buyer behavior.
One way to gain insight into the motivation underlying impulse buying is to investigate the feeling states that follow it. From this perspective, mood states can be interpreted as affect- oriented elements animating impulse buying episodes. For example, Weinberg and Gottwald (1982), Rook and Hoch (1985), and Rook (1987) report impulse buying is more intense and arousing than contemplative buying.
The purpose of this paper is to provide a preliminary view of the relationship of impulse buying to post-purchase moods. The exploratory empirical study reported here examined the specific feeling states, valence of affective states and level of arousal associated with post-purchase feeling states. In addition, the work seeks to go beyond investigating positive versus negative affective states, to examine the relationship of impulse buying episodes to specific post-purchase affective states.

pollution to a visitor

·           Global warming is not a fight between the ozone layer and pollution. It has become more of a political issue than anything, and it is taking away from what Global warming is or is not supposed to be. It has become about money, control, and more or less a bunch of statements and opinions. The true truth of what Global warming is supposed to be is mostly unknown. With so many different opinions about global warming, it is hard to believe what people say about it, and/or trust what is being said. There are seemingly little facts that state global warming is the main cause for the earth heating, ice melting, or anything else taking place on earth. Evidence that human pollution has caused such a dramatic change in the ozone has not been tested or rightly proven. We have mostly been told what changes have been occurring, not evidence of how the changes have come about. The world has changed multiple times in the past. Rivers have dried up, ice has melted and reformed many times in the past and glaciers have formed. That earth does not stay the same. It is a basic part of life for the climate to change.
You have most likely heard that global warming has been affecting our weather and temperature. Scientists use graphs to prove this. This is not the main cause according to the American Policy Center “Weather does what it wants.” (United Nations/There is No Global Warming). We do not control weather, even if we have affected our ozone layer. If you have ever seen a weather graph, then you would see that the weather is not constant. Weather as most know is different all over the world. All the weather graphs made that average the all around temperature never match up. The scientists that state the world is heating up can easily find a place in the world, one place that proves their theories. A graph though is just a piece of paper with points, bars and numbers. More or less stated by the American Policy Center, “Two kinds of scientists those who look at the facts and judgments on what they know and those who create data to go with the outcome they want. Those who do this, usually have a political agenda who demand desired outcomes for their money.” (United Nations/There is No Global Warming). Graphs can be changed to match what “they”, whoever “they” are wants it to prove. You see Graph A by Wood Hole Research Center (Scientific Evidence). That is just going up; you see this graph and directly think. “Wow what a high jump in temperature in such a short few years. You think that it is unnatural; something is wrong” Look closer at the graph. Look at the two techniques and One place they had taken these results from “CO2 concentration from Mauna Lao Observations and Antarctic Ice Core” This states that they took this large jump from two different study techniques in one place… the Antarctic. Then the scientists will try to convince you that this is happening all over the world. So then without looking at all the places, just a glance at the graph and someone will try to tell you. This is what we are doing to the planet. We are making this temperature rise. The scientists that say this never once state this is what we are doing to the Antarctic. The only place they show a graph of, they always state the whole world. So as you see in this graph, true or not, it states the temperature it rising, well American Policy Center believes “Satellites and balloon measurements show slight cooling of about .037 degrees Celsius”, (United Nations/There is No Global Warming).

modren life

Computers helped the world a lot and helped us take a large step into the future. Businesses and entertainment uses them to make profits, Education uses them to help educate students better, the Medical field uses computers in many different ways, and other areas. Without the computers help, none of this would be possible. The world would be a dull and primitive place. No cures for diseases, good entertainment, less transportation. You see how the computers changed today's society? It changed society it a lot. You may think that the computer didn't impact you. If you play computer or play station games, if you watch the latest movies like Wing Commander, or you did research on a topic for your school on computer, This remarkable device impacted everyone.
Computers changed the world a lot. It helped man step forward into the future. Thanks to computers, space exploraation came true, new designs of vehicles and other trasportaion were made, entertainment became more entertaining, medical science made more cures for diseases, etc. . . The computers impacted our lives in many ways. You may not notice it but they did make life a lot easier. Without computers, the world would be a harder place to live in. Thanks to the computers, everyday life is easier for us. Some people may disagree but most wouldn't. Some people say that computers are taking away man power. That maybe true but computers did make the impossible possible.

Computers impacted many items in today's society. One area the computer impacted on is the business area. Business uses computers for keeping track of accounts, money, or items that they need. You may notice business people using computers a lot, especially the laptop computers, portable computers that can be taken to your work area. You may see people use things like pie-charts and graphs when they present information to other business people in meetings. Most of those charts were made by computers. The business field uses the computers a lot for their companies and organizations Another area computers impacted on is the entertainment area. Most of the people out there like science fiction or action movies, especially the ones with the neat looking effects. Well, those graphics were mostly made by computers. Most of the movies today use computer graphics to make things more realistic but not real. Computer graphics are mostly used on spaceships, aliens, monsters, and special effects. To the left is a picture from the movie "Godzilla." Godzilla was created by computer animation, texturing, and graphics to make him more realistic then the older version when they used a man in a costume to play godzilla. This wasn't the only movie made with computers. Movies like Jurassic Park, Wing Commander, Starship Troopers, Star Wars SE, and the latest Star Trek Movies used computers to make them look more interesting and realistic. There are even movies completely made by computers like Toy Story and A Bugs' Life.

A good driver

Certain people have different ideas of what a good driver is. Just because you always abide by the speed limit, slow down at those yellow lights and always let people cross in cross-walks does not make you a good driver. It means you are a cautious driver and frankly, there is no place for you on my road, so get off. A good driver knows how to control his vehicle at all speeds, within reason of course, and in all sorts of conditions, whether it be rain, snow, sleet or a completely dry road. This type of person makes driving a fun, enjoyable adventure. It is a pleasure driving in the company of someone who shares the same opinions about driving. As one of today’s greatest philosophers George Carlin says, anyone who drives slower than you is an idiot, and anyone who drives faster is a $#@& lunatic; this statement is true to any driver around the world. There is nothing more satisfying than speeding down the highway with a fellow driver and trying to see who can get to a location that doesn’t exist down the highway first. Some would refer to this as a race. I know I would. I will now discuss some techniques that are only known and practiced by good drivers, by my definition at least. The next technique is not to be done with a random person but rather a person you know (a good driver, of course). This is what I like to call tag-team driving. This fun yet daring method originated during a trip home from Loon Mountain by fellow good driver John Smith and myself. The idea here is to open lanes for your partner and help them get into good positions on the highway. With this technique you can each travel faster as a unit rather than just two separate vehicles. The one warning here is that you both might get kind of excited and a race may ensue between the two of you so you must be careful.

The next modus operandi is passing, one of the most important techniques to learn, and learn well. If you can’t pass somebody quickly and without running them off the road, then you are a bad driver and quite frankly, shouldn’t allowed to control a two ton vehicle. There are certain myths about passing zones and where passes are legal and where they aren’t. Allow me to clarify. It’s legal anywhere, on any road, in any state. The double yellow line is a joke. It’s actually challenging you to pass by saying “Hey, I bet you can’t pass that car ahead of you around this bend.” The hell you can’t. You see? It’s not a law that you can’t pass on a double line. It just means passing at that point is ill-advised. Those of us who are good drivers make our own rules. If you can visualize the pass, then you can complete it. Let me re-iterate. It’s all about the visualization. I simply can’t stress that enough.

Dimensions. You must know the dimensions of your vehicle, this is key to all good drivers. If you do not, you are going to find yourself, well, hitting things and that can get damn expensive. I can’t even count the times where people in my car have felt uncomfortable in my vehicle, yes, I know it’s hard to believe, because I’ve, supposedly, come close to hitting something. I constantly have to reassure them that I know my vehicle and its dimensions, and will not hit anything without an outside force acting on my vehicle. Ha, Ha, foolish passengers. When you ride in the Integra, you’re in good hands.

Diversity

Diversity does not only mean differences between the Black population and the White population. Diversity speaks to differences among culture, race, ethnicity, religion, and sexual orientation of all people to name a few. To function in our changing world, I think it is important to have an understanding and appreciation of diversity. Some people talk about having tolerance, but I think it is more important for people to have an appreciation. Tolerance means to put up with something that is bothersome. It would be great if everybody could be aware of our differences and learn to appreciate others for who they are.
Some simple examples of diversity in a positive manner include, joining some groups or organizations, meeting people in class or at work, or just saying "hello" to someone that looks inviting could be the beginning of a new friendship. If you are attending college, there are many different groups and organizations that are available for you to join. It could be of a sport of a different culture, a group of a different race, or just a place for you to meet some new people. When you start your classes at college or when you begin work.
Diversity is all around us today. There is diversity in television shows, movies, magazines, and pretty much anything else you can think of. Diversity is a stereotype that someone does not belong doing what they are doing or because of their skin color or beliefs. One stereotype that I came across was in the Cosby Show on Nick at Night. The reason being is because they show that they feel that there is only either high-class black people or low class black people. The evidence to back this up would be.

cooperation, why its important

In the modern times, people co-operate with one another on an organized basis. They co-operate with one another through co-operative society, co-operating farming limited company, trade union congress, association, union, federation and the like. Co-operative society is very useful for the people. A co-operative consumers shop saves it members form the mischief of brokers and the middle men. A co-operative lending society saves its members form the shylocks. A co-operative industrial society gives better advantages to its members. People can start important village-industries through co-operative societies. The farmers do co-operative farming to their advantages. Trade union congress is a co-operation among the factory labourers. The factory labourers try to increase their efficiency and establish their rights. They do all these by co-operating among themselves through the Trade Union Congress. These are a few example of modern method of effecting co-operation. It is also very encouraging to find two countries to develop highly through the process of friendship and co-operation. Our mother-country India, too has economic co-operation with the friendly states.

presuasive writing prompts 4

Across the country, public places such as libraries and museums are now smoke free environments, and restaurants are required to have separates smoking and non-smoking sections. Some smoke free advocates are mow campaigning to ban smoking in all restaurants and bars. Many cities suffer from serious smoke problems; because it affects your health it doesn’t help it. My mother smokes and drinks soda and she had to go see a doctor and find out her lungs are and a very bad shape. And they are weak. If she centuries she will be died very soon.
Many people believe that smoking is good because it helps stimulate their mind. But all it’s doing is killing their brain cells. My brother during high school began smoking and he is addicted and it’s hard for him to stop because his body became used to it. For centuries people have wondered smoking of its effects and affects. Many educators argue that every child that smokes damage their brain cells. Some aren’t learning enough in school because of smoking.
A researcher shows that the average American smokes 24/7. many junior high and high school around they country now require students to spend a certain number of hours each term doing volunteer of  work or community service to stay out of areas to stop letting students smoke. Today in society you are required to take a drug test. Many educators argue that every child in every school have access to tobacco. Many days now students are able to get drugs from their parents.
Many parents requires their children to smoke with them rather than smoke behind their backs, which makes no since because how can you sit with your child and smoke with them knowing the effects that they are making, which can destroy their lives. Drugs are an increase in school across the nation now conduct targeted searches of student lockers and backs. Although the Supreme Court has ruled that public school officials have the right to search students they have reasonable cause to suspect weapons or drugs.

techniques

  • l education teachers must be organized, patient, able to motivate students, understanding of their students' special needs, and accepting of differences in others.
  • All States require teachers to be licensed; traditional licensing requires the completion of a special education teacher training program and at least a bachelor's degree, although some States require a master's degree.
  • Many States offer alternative licensure programs to attract college graduates who do not have training in education.
  • Excellent job prospects are expected due to rising enrollments of special education students and reported shortages of qualified teachers.

conveniences

An airplane is a form of transportation that has changed people’s lives. Thanks to the plane, our lives are now faster, more exciting, and more convenient than before.
You cannot deny that a plane is fast. For example, the Concorde flies at supersonic speed. A businessman can leave Paris at 11 a.m. in the morning and arrive in New York at 8 a.m. the same morning in time for a day’s work. Many bissness people in Europe will fly London for a noon meeting and then return home to Rome and Madrid for dinner.
It is always exciting to take a plane trip. When you take a trip by plane, you know that you night cross many time zones, many oceans, and many countries. When you get off the plane, you could be in a place that speaks a different language. A plane is like magician‘s trick. You get in a box and you come out somewhere totally different.
Nothing can beat the convenience of a plane. In the old days, it might take you days to do what the plane can do it an hour. Boats, for example, only leave on certain days of the week and take a long time to get to their destination. Planes give you the option to leave several times a day and get you to your destination quickly.
Although other forms of transportation may be more comfortable, none has changed the way we do business and lives more than the plane. Thanks to the speed, excitement, and convenience of the planes, our lives are richer.

a person achieved fame and fortune and how it changes the individual's life

Ted Turner is certainly a larger than life character and  a visionary worthy of further study.  He has demonstrated in many ways that he is a person with a remarkable creative vision, capable of using his imagination to visualize situations and possibilities not apparent to others.

As an example of his foresight, in 1980 his company, cable  News Network, C.N.N, decided to launch a 24 hours news channel that everyone else in the industry considered impractical, unnecessary and doomed to fail.  Ted Turner proved his critics to be completely wrong.

In 1986 Ted Turner was able to foresee the potential of home videos, something that was not immediately apparent to others. As a result, he acquired the rights from M.G.M entertainment. Here again it proved to be an exceptionally good investment.

When you have the opportunity, read detailed life stories  of  these seven well-known, successful personalities who made their mark in the  various careers they followed and become rich and famous.

They are typical examples of people able to see and take advantage of opportunities not visible to others; typical examples of the effective use of  a faculty that many possess but few know to use effectively – their third eye.

enough sleep

Teenagers do not have the same biorhythms as adults, and need a greater amount of sleep for a number of reasons. The adolescent is going through major pubescent changes with rapid growth and development. During sleep the body repairs, restores, and rebuilds that which is necessary to maintaining a healthy body. If the body is deprived of adequate and sufficient sleep then many of these functions cannot be performed, or performed properly.

Sleep deprivation has long been reported to contribute to emotional and mental changes as seen in students with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, anxiety, among other behavioral changes. Whether the child is 7 or 17, the signs of sleep deprivation are very similar:
  • Difficulty getting up in the morning, may even sleep through alarm.
  • Irritability and crankiness
  • Predisposed to greater emotional outbursts
  • Inability to concentrate or focus at school
  • Falling asleep during the day
  • Complaining of fatigue or loss of energy
  • Poor motor coordination
  • Accident prone
