Request final transcripts. If you applied before completing high school or a college semester, or if you have high school AP, IB or any college credit to transfer, please contact your school and request that your final transcript be mailed directly to theAdmissions Office.

 If your enclosed acceptance letter states your residency is anything other than you expected, please call our Tuition Classification Officer in the Admissions Office.

Reserve your spot at Mesa State by paying the $50 enrollment deposit. Log on to MAVzone and follow the steps below to pay the deposit.
  • Log in to MAVzone
  • Click on the Student Finance tab
  • Click on the GO to E-Pay
  • Click on the Deposit tab at the top of MSC E-Pay
  • Choose a term
  • Choose a deposit: Spring or Fall Enrollment Deposit
  • Click on Make Deposit Payment
  • Enter payment method
MAVzone provides single sign-on access to information about what's happening on campus, your Mesa State email account, online classes, and network drives. You will also use MAVzone to look up and register for classes (after your first semester), add or drop classes, check grades, view financial aid status, make payments, and more.
To log in, click the MAVzone link in the navigation bar at the top of any page on the MSC website and use your network username and password provided in your acceptance letter. The first time you log into MAVzone, you will be prompted to change your password. If you forget or lose your password, call the Mesa State IT Helpdesk
. List Mesa State's code 001358 and your information is automatically submitted to us. You will need a copy of the previous year's federal tax return and W2 statements to complete the online application Mesa State College has a required on-campus residency policy. All freshmen and sophomore students who are single, under 21 years of age and not residing with their parents in Mesa County are required to live on campus, provided that space is available. Any exceptions to this policy must be submitted to the Housing office with apporpirate documentation and then apporved by the Director of Housing and Residence Life.
Complete the Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Register for orientation. All incoming freshmen from Colorado are required to attend. Out-of-state students are strongly encouraged to attend, but not required.
At orientation, you will:
  • Meet with an academic advisor and register for classes;
  • Attend informative sessions;
  • Learn how to get involved with campus activities;
  • Get your MAVcard (student ID);
