pass a college admission test

College exams are never fun, they are quite stressful, and a lot of work to study for.  Whether you have a low grade in the class and need to bring it up by your college exam, or you have a high grade and don’t want it to lower because of it, there are things you can do.   A college exam doesn’t need to be as scary as you make it out to be.  We all know the most important thing is to study, but there are a few other things you could keep in mind to raise that grade also.  Check out some of the things you can do to get the grade you want on your college exam. Take good notes – Taking good notes in college is very important.  Since college is so fast paced to learn about a whole subject, the professor is going to try to tell you everything that’s important in class.  Taking good notes will make it so much easier to study when the exam is around the corner.Ask your teacher questions – Don’t be afraid to ask your teacher questions, that’s what they’re there for.  When you know your exam is coming up stay after class a few minutes and ask them what the exam really focus’s on.  Ask what kind of questions they will be, whether multiple choice, short answer, essay, whatever it is get an idea so you can be prepared and know what to expect.Get a study buddy – Having a friend from the classes makes study time a lot more fun and worthy of your time.  Study with someone can help you out more than you can think.  If you’re studying they may mention something you never heard of and might be able to explain what it is.  Or maybe they heard the teacher say “you need to study this, it will be on the exam.”  They can help you out a ton, think of all the information you know and just and some more help with a study buddy!Use your textbook – Look at the chapters your exam will be on.  Look through the chapters and kind of skim but re-read the bold and chapter reviews.  The chapter reviews stresses the important parts for you so you don’t have to re-read everything.Quizzes and tests – Often college professors will take old questions off your quizzes and test and re-apply them on your exam.  There is nothing worse than saying “Ugh i know i read this question but i don’t know the answer!”  So take a good look and review your past assignments. The day of – Make sure you got a good nights sleep and you ate a good breakfast.  This is very important, this will make your brain function a whole lot better than if you didn’t.  Eating healthy, drinking some fluids, and getting enough sleep will do the trick.Don’t wait until the last minute – Most of the time our professors don’t just say you’re having an exam in a couple days, so prepare and start studying the day you find out.  Don’t ever wait until the last minute, you will stress out and most likely get a bad grade. There are many things you can do to get a good grade on your exam.  Follow some of the tips above and you will be off to good grades in no time.  This is your chance to maintain a good grade or to bring up a low grade.  Good luck!
